A New Holiday Tradition Aims to Showcase Local Creativity and Cheer
Centerville, TN — The Halloween decorating contest was such a hit, Centerville Main Street decided to keep the fun going! Residents within the city limits are invited to bring that same community spirit and creativity to the first-ever Centerville Main Street Christmas Yard Decorating Contest.
This brand-new event celebrates holiday imagination, local pride, and a little friendly competition—all while lighting up Centerville with festive charm. Participation is free and open to all residents within the city limits.
Entry forms are available at the Centerville Main Street office, 405 W. Public Square, or at the Centerville Library, 120 Swan Street. Participants can also enter online at https://forms.gle/noz7Tvt8CuXAQPpg6.
Important Dates:
- Entry Deadline: November 21, 2025
- Voting Period: December 1–15, 2025
- Winners Announced: December 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM
All judging will be People’s Choice, giving everyone in the community a chance to vote for their favorite festive display. Ballots will be available online and at select local merchants.
“We had such a wonderful response to the Halloween contest that we wanted to carry that excitement into the holiday season,” said Brenda Brock, Executive Director of Centerville Main Street. “This contest is a chance for neighbors to share their creativity, spread a little Christmas joy, and maybe even start a new Centerville tradition.”
Entrants are encouraged to invite visitors to stop by, share photos online, and campaign for votes in the spirit of fun and good cheer.
